1. Describe what is happening in this scene? In this Scene Guido is making up the rules of the game to protect Joshua from the truth about the concentration camp. There is an imbalance in power, a line down the middle on the right hand side; a big muscular German solder with a tall muscular guard; on the left hand side guido with a higher voice, and much shorter than the guard, and a short German guard.
2. Who are the heroes and villains in this scene? Why are they heroes and villains? In this scene Guido is the hero as he is lieing at the risk of being caught in order to protect his son. The Villan in this scene is the  German soldier as he is telling everyone the ground rules in a violent manner and all the German soldiers in this movie are evil as they are all working together to kill off all the Jews.
